An official website of the Velocity Interoperability Network

Press Release

Register of Sites Opens

Site Resilience Office

The Environment Department has opened the register of physical sites of the Velocity Interoperability Network. The register records every building or room in which a member organisation houses equipment connected to the Network, the class of the site, the date it was registered and the status of its assessment against the resilience standards.

Twelve sites have been entered on the register today from the records that member organisations kept before the Department was established. Each organisation has been asked to confirm its entries and to submit a self-assessment against the four standards by the end of October 2026. Assessments by the Department begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Member organisations are required to register any site not yet on the register before its first energy report. The register, and the procedure for adding or amending an entry, are published on environment.gov.vin.
